Another Mac OS Quickstart problem

Unlike rye, I get a little further…
when I attempt to execute the assistant with node index.js I get the following error response…

Bills-Mac-mini:/ wnpeugh$ cd /Users/wnpeugh/Zsnips
Bills-Mac-mini:Zsnips wnpeugh$ node index.js
/Users/wnpeugh/Zsnips/index.js:1

Also, when I execute snips-watch -v, I DO get an appropriate response…

Bills-Mac-mini:Zsnips wnpeugh$ snips-watch -v

So help out a newbie as to where to look to fix my SyntaxError Problem

sounds like an error in the node code file… not a snips problem
