Here is a forum thread for those trying the installation on Ubuntu and following the procedure for Debian: https://docs.snips.ai/guides/other-platforms/linux-amd64
Though the bug also hits Debian users but I guess they’ll find the original thread.
Symptoms: some packages are still in version 0.58.2 or even missing in the repository, e.g. snips-skill-server.
There is a bug when running “sam init”, it will replace the repo URL with the one for Raspbian. You have to edit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/snips.list afterwards and restore the URL for amd64 platforms: https://debian.snips.ai/stretch
Sam will also put the Ubuntu release codename (cosmic here) in the URL you’ll only get a 404. Stick to “stretch”.
Source: Install on debian 9 VM follow the manual procedure described.
