Microphone and speaker configuration reset after reboot

I have a Rock64 board and I’m setting up Snips.

However, I have found the problem that each time the board is powered up, the audio configuration is reset (sam test speaker and sam test microphone fail). I have to configure the correct options again with sam setup audio.

My idea is connect the Snips assistant only when necessary, shutting down it at night for example. This problem would not permit it, since after each powerup I should connect via SSH and configure speaker and microphone again.

Is there a manner of persistently configure microphone and speaker interfaces?

Thanks and Regards.

Normally not, the config should stay. Do you use a respeaker?

I use a Rock64 board with PS3 Eye and jack normal speaker. The options in sam setup audio are always the same, but until I set again the correct options the speakers don’t work.

Let me know if some command can provide more information about the issue.

Thanks and Regards.

The PS3 is correctly connected, but speakers do not.

This is the output of aplay -l:

rock64@rock64:~$ aplay -l

The last time I have tested it, it has worked fine without resetup audio.

If the problem happens again I will comment about it.

Maybe the problem was doing sam connect, this time I have not executed it and it remained configured.
