Unit tests disappeared

Hi!

I had about 70 unit tests in my assistant that disappeared after the console crashed.
My assistant ID is: proj_XaK3Kv3E4vQ

Can you help me get them back?

Hi, I’m sorry to hear about this, it obviously should not happen. Can you explain in what way the “console crashed” - what did you see on your screen? What different things did you try? When did this happen?

Can you also confirm that on a page refresh, the unit tests are still gone?

I’ll look into getting them back for you. :+1:

Hi!

The tests are still gone even after a page refresh and a signout / signin cycle.

It happened friday around 8:30 PM. I tried to add a new test and the screen displayed an unformatted error message just below the blue navbar (the blue navbar was still there).

I unfortunately do not remember the error message as when the console crash (it happens sometimes after a long intensive usage period) I usually refresh the page and go on but that was not the case here.

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi!

My tests are back! Thanks for your support.

I can now reproduce the error that crashed the console.

Here is what I get when I try to open the latest test:

Something went wrong!
Please reload the page in your browser, or in worst case, restart from the [homepage (https://console.snips.ai/).

In the browser console:

TypeError: Cannot read property 'input' of undefined
    at g (Utterance.js:46)
    at $o (react-dom.production.min.js:150)
    at Mi (react-dom.production.min.js:178)
    at Wa (react-dom.production.min.js:232)
    at Va (react-dom.production.min.js:233)
    at ku (react-dom.production.min.js:249)
    at _u (react-dom.production.min.js:248)
    at Au (react-dom.production.min.js:251)
    at jn (react-dom.production.min.js:85)
    at HTMLDocument.b (tracker.js:4)

Seems related to the fact that I did not define an intent for this test.

Hope this helps.

Hey @fastjack,

We made another fix that should solve your issue, can you try again?

Thanks!

I’m still getting a console crash when I try to open/expand a test without an associated intent.

TypeError: Cannot read property 'input' of undefined
    at g (Utterance.js:46)

Can you try changing the intent drop-down / typing some text (or actually just re-record it) to force-save the test before expanding?

Did it multiple times but the result is still a crash when the intent dropdown does not have a value anymore.

Step to reproduce:

  1. Open the intent drop down of an existing test that already ran previously
  2. Press the backspace or suppr key (remove the previous defined intent)
  3. Press escape (the test does not have an intent defined now)
  4. Click the expand arrow
  5. Crash

Hope this helps.

It does, thanks for getting back! I’ll investigate and fix asap.
